The nose is fruity and offers elegance and good definition. There are notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, violet and more slightly crunchy blackberry combined with hints of crunchy blueberry, cherry as well as fine hints of liquorice/badian, grey pepper, vanilla and a subtle almost tobacco/almost smoky edge. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, crunchiness, sweetness, good definition, finesse, acidity, minerality, roundness, fleshiness and some power and roundness in elegance. A fine and powerful grain. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy blackberry, blueberry and slightly pulpy blackcurrant notes combined with hints of raspberry, toast, mocha, racy minerality and a discreet hint of coffee (in the background).
