The nose is fruity, silkiness and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of crunchy cassis, flowers (iris, bulbs/lilac) and more slightly red berries associated with small touches of wild strawberry, blackberry as well as discreet touches of Cuben pepper, spices, very discreet hints of racy minerality/iodine and imperceptible hints of menthol. The palate is fruity, silky, well-balanced, harmonious, precise, straight, racy and offers a fine fleshiness, a beautiful grain, suavity, gourmandize, a beautiful softness, tension, vivavity and a little fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry, and more slightly crunchy raspberry associated with small touches of flowers (iris, bulbs), spices as well as very discreet touches of dark chocolate (int he background), mentholated liquorice (in the backgound) and a very discreet hint of fresh almond. Very fine chews and fine power on the finish. Good persistence.
