The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is tasty, fragrant and expresses pronounced spicy and toasted notes (cardamom, nutmeg, licorice, clove, toasted almond, black pepper, smoke, coffee), which are complemented by notes of dried peppermint, roasted rosemary, flowers (dried rose, dried cornflower, violet), as well as a tangy and juicy fruity material (red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, blueberry, crushed blackcurrant, even black plum), as well as aromas of cocoa nibs and tangy bitter chocolate. The palate is straight, precise and tangy. First, we feel the fruity, tangy and slightly bitter flavors (fresh cherry, red cherry, cranberries, dried blackcurrant, blueberry), then associated with spicy notes (cardamom, liquorice, nutmeg), flowers (fresh rose, violet) and roasted (coffee; toasted almond). The finish offers pleasant herbal touches (dried mint, dried pine needles), as well as a good bitterness and a salivating acidity. Tannins are powdery, slightly grainy, but enveloped.
