The nose is fresh, crunchy and offers a fine richness, minerality, a beautiful delicacy of the grain as well as a fine concentraion. It reveals notes of cassis, liquorice, racy minerality and black cherry associated with small touches of raspberry, crushed red berries, discreet touches of flowers as well as subtle touches of cardamom, tea and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, discreetly tight and offers freshness, minerality, a nice acid frame as well as a beautiful gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry, and more slightly juicy/crunchy black berries associated with touches of liquorice/zan, toasted oak, a subtle hint of almond, black tea as well as very discreet touches of lily/flowers (in the background), cocoa, and grilled (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Good persistence and gourmandize.
