The nose is powerful and concentrated. It reveals fine notes of cassis, blackberry, spices and crushed black berries combined with slight / discreet touches of menthol. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, aerial and offers a beautiful fleshiness, tension, concentration as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crème de cassis and finetouches of raspberry associated with subtle touches of crushed black berries, tobacco, cardamaone and tonka bean on the finish. Tannins are well-built and a bit tight. There is a touch of Bourbon vanilla on the persistence.
