Alpha Omega – Era 2015 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant and offers finesse as well as a slight complexity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, wild strawberry and small notes of fleshy raspberry combined with touches of violets, blueberries, sweet spices, tonka beans as well as discreet hints of Cuben pepper and almond. The mouth is fruity, elegant, gourmand, well-structured, quite supple and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful freshness, a mineral frame, a slight straightness, a beautiful finesse as well as a beautiful suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of crushed / juicy raspberry, caramelization, chocolate and discreet toasted oak and hints of sweet spices. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length.
