The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, attractive and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and black fruit cream associated with fine notes of strawberry as well as touches of Sichuan pepper, cornflower and fine touches of wood. The palate is fruity, fleshy, suave, a bit aerial, nicely gourmand and offers an acid frame, a beautiful definition, a nice volume, a beautiful grain, tension as well as a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis, blackberry cream and touches of fresh strawberry associated with slight notes of fresh raspberry, fine touches of wood, mocha as well as delicate notes of dark chocolate, a discreet hint of toasted oak and a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla in the background. Tannins are fine, elegant and structuring. Good length and persistence with notes of licorice, juicy black fruit and a hint of chocolate. A beautiful and promising wine. However it’s currently to young.
