The nose is fruity, powerful, elegant, racy and offers depthness, a slight intensity as well as a very beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of cassis and blackberry associated with small notes of red berries, Sichuan pepper, violet as well as subtle hints of Zan, nutmeg and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight mineral frame, freshness as well as a beautiful definition and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy / crunchy cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry, crushed raspberry associated with small touches of Zan, blueberry, licorice, toasted oak and vanilla. Tannins are fine and a bit firm.
