The nose is a bit tight, a bit closed and offers a slight richness. It needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberries, cassis and small notes of crushed red berries, liquorice associated with hints of Sichuan pepper, menthol, nutmeg, toasted hints as well as slight / discreet hints of fresh grove and an imperceptible hint of tea. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful juiciness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, fleshy / juicy boysenberry and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with small touches of wild strawberry, flowers (rose, violet) as well as slight hints of caramelization and licorice. Tannins are elegant and a bit firm. Good length.
