The nose offers power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, cassis and juicy black berries combined with hints of redcurrant, liquorice as well as a subtle hint of black olive and cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, beautifully well-balanced, aerial and offers a beautiful mineral frame, density, concentration, tension as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, fleshy / juicy blackberry and slight touches of crushed wild strawberry combined with slight notes of fleshy raspberry as well as a hint of plum, liquorice, chocolate, toasted oak and vanilla. Tannins are elegant.
