The nose is powerful, concentrated and offers a slight gourmandise as well as depth. It reveals notes of blackberry, liquorice and slight cassis notes associated with slight touches of strawberry as well as subtle touches of caramelized woody (in the background) and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant and offers a nice definition, density, dynamism, a nice gourmandise, a beautiful delicacy as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis and slight touches of red cherry cream combined with discreet liquorice hints, dark chocolate as well as subtle touches of caramelization and almond. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
