(79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 1% Merlot) The nose is fruity, fine, structured, relatively powerful and offers intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and touches of spice associated with a hint of Sichuan pepper, fine notes of red fruits and a very discreet vegetal hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-structured and offers a nice freshness, tension / acid frame as well as a good and silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis cream, juicy small wild fruits and fine touches of strawberry jam associated with a touch of raspberry as well as small notes of licorice, a few slight notes of toasted oak and a (very) slight hint of caramelization. Tannins are elegant, medium grain, straight, structuring and a but firm. Good length.
