The nose is spicy and offers a certain depth and a fine hint of volatility. The wine benefits from decanting. The palate is mineral, chiselled, fresh and offers a certain richness in fruit freshness, a fine elegant austerity, roundness and a certain fatness in freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet plum and small notes of blue plum, combined with touches of crushed raspberry, as well as fine hints of tonka bean, cardamom and a hint of maceron. Good length. The tannins are precise, finely mellow and marked. A hint of fresh hazelnut.
