The nose is spicy and offers power and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, flowers, small notes of quetsche plum associated with touches of small wild fruits as well as discreet hitns of Sichuan pepper, spices and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy raspberry, small notes of blackcurrant associated with a hint of crunchy questch plum, iris/lily as well as a subtle hint of chocolate. Tannins are elegant and racy. A very discreet chew on the persistence.
