The nose is fruity and offers power and tension. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild cherry, wild blackberry, small notes of cassis associated with small touches of violet flowers as well as a fine hint of plum, zan, sweet spices, a very discreet hint of cardamom and a subtle hint of racy minerality/graphite. The palate is fruity, harmonious, elegant and offers juiciness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a racy minerality, an aromatic purity, roundness and a certain delicacy in its power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/creamy cassis, pulpy/juicy blackberry, small notes of fleshy/juicy redcurrant associated with touches of fleshy/juicy plum, violet as well as fine hints of chocolate, zan, nutmeg, tonka bean and green cardamom. Good length. A hint of toasted hazelnut/appetence on the finish. Tannins are well-built, elegant, precise and structuring.
