The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a certain power (full of control), intensity and a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry, small notes of pepper associated with touches of small berries, racy/iodine minerality, spices as well as fine hints of cherry, fleshy/juicy violet plum and discreet hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, mineral, finely tight, racy and offers freshness, gourmandize, tension as well as a small richness/density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis, small notes of creamy cherry associated with touches of iodine/saline minerality, plum as well as hints of violet, zan, camphor as well as very fine hints of tasted and discreet hints of vanilla. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
