Aia Dei Colombi – Sannio Barbera 2024 – Sannio DOC Barbera

The nose is fruity and offers elegance and a certain intensity and power of fruit. There are notes of wild cassis, boysenberry, pulpy plum and small notes of small ripe wild red fruits, associated with fine hints of Cubèbe pepper, as well as a fine hint of sense of the place (local biotop). The palate is fruity, juicy, it presents a certain pulpiness, a fine creaminess in freshness and elegance and a lovely airy textured. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, violet plum and small notes of small wild red fruits, combined with touches of lilac, star anise, as well as fine hints of cornflower, tobacco and a discreet hint of Cubèbe pepper. Good length. Freshness, gourmandise and substance. Good persistence.
