The nose is aromatic, harmonious and elegant. It reveals notes of tonka bean, crushed cassis and dried wild strawberry associated with touches of crushed/dried raspberry, toasted oak, Bourbon vanilla, mushroom, spices and slight hitns of gray pepper in the background. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, nicely built, silky, gourmand and offers a slight tension as well as a slight minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy ripe red cherry, fleshy raspberry and juicy fleshy cassis associated with slight notes of crunchy redcurrant as well as touches of fleshy Quetsche plum, toasted oak, dark chocolate and a very discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
