The nose is aromatic, gourmand, racy and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of boysenberry and fleshy strawberry associated with a hint of bigarreau cherry, hints of chocolate, caramelization as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices, a very discreet hint of cardamom and tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy and offers a nice minerality, a slight suavity, gourmandise as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy/juicy bigarreau cherry and slight notes of crushed redcrurrant associated with touches of blackberry, subtle hints of toasted oak, Bourbon vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of mushroom in the background. Good length.
