The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a certain straightness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, lily, small notes of violet associated with small touches of violet plum, nutmeg as well as fine touches of sense of the place/terroir, a discreet hint of grey pepper and tobacco. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, a mineral frame and a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, small juicy/fresh/ripe black berries, small notes of lily, rose associated with small touches of violet, plum, liquorice stick as well as hints of racy minerality, laurel and a discreet hint of spices. Very discreet hints of chocolate on the persistence. Tannins are precise and very discreetly firm.
