The nose offers spices, intensity and a certain power. There are notes of boysenberry, Timut pepper and small notes of toasted almond, associated with hints of crushed strawberry, as well as fine hints of fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of almost citrus/mandarin. The palate is well-built, fruity, mineral and offers a tangy frame, energy, good definition, a certain gourmandise and precision. It also presents a lovely tannic structure, finely velvety, racy and structuring. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, tangy/fresh boysenberry and small notes of small fresh/tangy red fruits, combined with touches of fresh blond tobacco and nutmeg. Good length. A hint of tobacco in the background. Freshness, juiciness, acidity and energy. We find a certain brightness, purity and depth. Nice persistence.
