Aegerter – Réserve Personnelle 2018 – Vosne-Romanée

The nose is fruity and slightly tight. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of blackberry, small crunchy blue berries and small notes of rose, fresh violet associated with fine touches of blackberry, liquorice, graphite as well as slight hints of sweet spices and pink pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition as well as gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crunchy red cherry, fleshy/juicy red berries and small notes of rose, violet associated with small touches of juicy blueberry as well as hints of chocolate, liquorice and mild tobacco as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices. Tannins are very discreetly sticky.
