Ad Vitam Aeternam 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a fine concentration, precision, a certain purity of the fruit, a small richness in finesse, balance, a fine stretched side as well as a fine creaminess. It reveals notes of bright / juicy blackberry, bright redcurrants and small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh purple plum, graphite, a fine hint of gray pepper as well as a discreet almost balsamic hint and badian. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/acidulous structure, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, roundness, precision, a beautiful volume all in freshness, elegance as well as a small richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright/juicy Bigarreau cherries, crushed strawberries and small notes of fleshy red currants associated with small touches of cardamom, caramelization, a fine hint of fresh/bright red plum as well as fine hints of graphite, tonka bean and salinity. A small aerial side in the approach. Tannins are sapid and very finely mellow. A wine carried by its freshness as well as by the juiciness/acidity of its fruit.
