A Fundo Cordis, Lucie et Laurent Rousseau 2021 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is powdery, peppery, fresh and offers a certain intensity. There are notes of pulpy. Juicy blackberry, concentrated/ juicy small black fruits and small notes of violet associated with touches of tonka beans, infusion and a discreet hint of crushed raspberry (in the background) and subtle toasted hints that coat the fruit. The mouth is beautifuly fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a fresh frame, tension, energy, staightness and a good structure/ concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy raspberry, pulpy/ juicy cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of acidulous cassis as well as tonka beans hints, sweet blond tabaco and a discreet moka hints. Beautiful juiciness and freshness. Suppleness and harmony.
