2ndPez 2020 – Saint-Estèphe 

On the nose, fruity, elegant and offers boldness, delicacy, harmony as well as fullness, complexity and gourmandize. It reveals notes of pulpy wild blackberry, bright small black fruits currants and more slightly bright red currants associated with touches of tobacco, sweet spices, delicate touches of pulpy strawberry, cherry as well as hints of toasted hazelnut, toasted almond and a discreet touch of vanilla. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, roundness, body, harmony as well as a nice delicacy/precision and finesse. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, crushed cherry and hints of bursting blackcurrant associated with hints of pulpy/juicy violet plum, black tea, racy minerality and fine hint of toast, vanilla, a touch of toasted hazelnut and tonka bean. A very discreet savory touch and a little chewiness on the finish/persistence. The tannins are precise, elegant and mellow.
