Jean-Baptiste Fau – Sur un fil 2020 – Limoux

The nose is precise, clean, framed, stretched and offers a linear side as well as a certain intensity of precision. A racy-fresh side / sense of place (local biotop) and a fine crunchiness. The palate is nicely juicy, gourmand, precise, structured, technical and offers juiciness/brightness of the fruit as well as a stretched side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, small juicy/bright citrus fruits and small notes of fresh/bright pear associated with touches of white flowers, verbena, a discreet hint of sense of place (local biotop) as well as a subtle tannic and buttery hint in the background. A hint of flint, a good bitterness and chew on the finish/persistence. Precise and clean.
