Château d’Argan 2023 – Médoc

The nose is juicy, fruity, slightly minty and woody. It expresses notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, peppermint, a spicy touch of white pepper and liquorice and a hint of toast and bitter cocoa. The palate is supple, airy, with lovely juiciness and fresh fruit. We find notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant, wild strawberry, liquorice, a bitter touch of cocoa, as well as a hint of peppermint, white pepper and violet. The tannins are melted and fine. The finish is more woody, chiselled and fresh. Beautiful balance and freshness.
