Château Pey La Tour 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity and reveals a hint of crushed fruit. There are notes of pulpy blackcurrant, violet and, more slightly, blackberry, combined with hints of crushed strawberry and a touch of lily, nutmeg and vanilla. The palate is fruity, accessible and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, a little roundness, some volume, generosity and an acidic backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, pulpy/fresh blackberry and, more slightly, crushed redcurrant, combined with hints of lily, chocolate, vanilla and a touch of toasted almond. Good length. The tannins are precise and mellow.
