On the nose, fruity and offers good definition, juicy/fresh/ripe fruit. It reveals notes of boysenberry bursting, raspberry and more lightly berry associated with fine touches of blackcurrant, fresh plum as well as hints of toast, almond, nutmeg and a discreet hint of cocoa. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, good definition, gourmandise, sweetness, pulpy/juicy/acidulated fruit. The wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, cassis and more lightly bursting red berry notes combined with hints of plum blossom, violet, zan, small berries and subtle hints of distinguished/chalky minerality and cocoa. The tannins are present and mellow. |
