It reveals notes of bursting blackcurrant, blue berries and more lightly blueberry associated with touches of licorice/zan, crushed strawberry, grey pepper, spices as well as fine points of green cardamom, vanilla, sense of place and an imperceptible touch of black olive (in the background). On the palate, fruity, balanced, distinguished, precise and offers a nice finesse, fine grain, juiciness, richness (in finesse), smoothness, power (in delicacy), a certain density (in balance), a nice stretched side/all in length. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bursting blackcurrant, small blue berries/burstings combined with hints of violet, tart/charnished red berries, blueberry, sweet spices as well as fine hints of sense of place, toastiness, hazelnut, a discreet touch of graphite, chocolate and caramelization. The tannins are precise, relatively massive and polished. |
