On the palate, fruity, balanced, distinguished, precise and offers a nice finesse, fine grain, juiciness, richness (in finesse), smoothness, power (in delicacy), a certain density (in balance), a nice stretched side/all in length. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bursting blackcurrant, small blue berries/burstings combined with hints of violet, tart/charnished red berries, blueberry, sweet spices as well as fine hints of sense of place, toastiness, hazelnut, a discreet touch of graphite, chocolate and caramelization. The tannins are precise, relatively massive and polished. |
