A “sweet wine” sweet notes of pineapple, apricot, nectarine and melon combined with floral notes. A pleasant wine because it does not overload the palace of sugar. A medium finish.

Kenwood Winery – Pinot Noir 2010 – Russian River Valley – Sonoma

A well done nectar, well balanced. It develops notes of spice, fleshy red fruits (especially strawberries), associated with toasty vanilla. With a little bitter finish. The tannins are well made but still a bit young.

A rich wine with ripe fruit aromas including black fruit (cassis, black berries) associated with raspberry and strawberry. In the mouth it also reveals spicy / peppery. The volcanic soil characterizes this wine also.
