Verona celebrates wine in the heart of the city
From April 10 to 12, 2026, Vinitaly and the City returns to Verona with an ambitious and immersive edition. Conceived as the “fuori salone” of the renowned Vinitaly fair, the event transforms the historic city centre into a large-scale wine tourism experience combining tastings, culture, and sensory exploration.

Over three days, more than seventy events will take place across the city’s squares and streets, offering visitors a comprehensive journey through the diversity of Italian vineyards. Tastings, masterclasses, and meetings with producers form the backbone of the programme, complemented by guided tours, literary events, and artistic performances.
The event will officially open on Friday, April 10, with an inaugural toast featuring Pinot Grigio Doc delle Venezie, the official wine of this edition. The main hub will once again be centred around Piazza dei Signori, Cortile del Mercato Vecchio, and Cortile del Tribunale, each transformed into experiential wine destinations.

One of the highlights will be the immersive show “Dentro c’è l’Italia” on Saturday evening, bringing together 150 artists in a performance that blends dance, theatre, and music to narrate the culture of wine through land, time, and the transmission of knowledge.
Beyond tastings, the event will feature music performances, panoramic wine experiences, and exclusive access to some of Verona’s most iconic locations. The 2026 edition also expands beyond the city centre to the Valpolicella Wine Road, with a dedicated programme involving seventeen wineries.
Blending heritage, lifestyle, and viticultural richness, Vinitaly and the City confirms its status as a must-attend event, offering a contemporary and accessible interpretation of Italian wine culture.
