Ornellaia 2022 – Bolgheri Bianco

The nose is elegant, mineral, precise and offers a beautiful definition, a nice grain, elegance, deepness, richness in delicacy/finesse as well as a good definition. Full of freshness and subtlety. An intellectual character. We find notes of pulpy nectarine, small fleshy white fruits and small notes of quince associated with fine touches of lemon blossom, hints of apricot, crushed apricot as well as fine mineral hints, almost pine needles/sap and a delicate hint of buttered brioche. The palate is beautifully built, delicate, supple, gourmand, full of accuracy and offers a beautiful unctuosity, a nice precision, delicacy, finesse, deepness, a beautiful matter as well as richness with finesse. A silk square! On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, creamy nectarine, and small notes of quenette associated with fine touches of ripe citrus fruit, as well as a subtle hint of almost white melon, peach blossom, verbena, and a delicate iodine/saline touch. A subtle tannic hint in the aromas on the finish. Good length. A lovely hint of infusion full of elegance. A subtle hint of lime on the persistence. A beautifully gastronomic and textured white wine.
