50 years of experience, discipline and passion for the Alto Adige terroirs

Established in 1969, the Giovanett family brings over 50 years of experience to the wine industry. Since its initial growth, the estate has expanded to 70 hectares in Alto Adige, planted on volcanic porphyry and Dolomite rock. The portfolio consists of native grapes – Gewürztraminer, Schiava, and Lagrein – as well as international varieties like Pinot Grigio, all grown with a focus on quality.

Red wine production is centered on Pinot Noir, with a single vineyard project covering the Buchholz, Glen, and Mazon sites, where the Giovanett family emphasizes the distinct characteristics of each to produce three distinct wines. For the anecdote, since 2011 the Giovanett family produce also Riesling in Mosel (Germany), cultivating the steep slope of Sorentberg vineyard.
