Tedeschi – Maternigo Valpolicella 2021 – Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Riserva

A beautiful, elegant and precise nose that offers a beautiful, airy, intense, and delicately tight grain. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, concentrated cassis and small notes of jammy strawberry combined with touches of mandarin, fresh small red fruits, a hint of ripe citrus as well as a discreet hint of dried apricot and almond. The palate is beautifully structured, supple, elegant, gourmand, delicately tight and offers a tangy structure, precision, a fine tension as well as energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy cassis and small notes of crushed cherry combined with touches of crushed mandarin, fine hints of star anise, a floral hint of jammy plum and discreet hints of spices. Good length. Fresh and acidulous.
