The nose is gourmand and presents a certain silkiness and depth of fruit, a creamy, even roasted side to the fruit, but with elegance and brilliance. It reveals notes of creamy blueberry, quite ripe blue fruits and small notes of roasted bigarreau cherry associated with fine touches of small fairly ripe red fruits, hints of cornflower, smoke, vanilla/toasted as well as a discreet hint of saltiness. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a certain salinity, precision, a fine concentration (full of balance) as well as even a certain lightness despite the richness/maturity of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe cassis, dense/concentrated blueberry and small notes of bigarreau cherry, combined with touches of small red fruits with Mediterranean accents, as well as hints of smoke, tobacco, arbutus, chocolate, toasted hazelnut and vanilla. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. Racy minerality and a subtle hint of local roasted garrigue/roasted thyme in the background.
