The nose is spicy, frank, and offers a certain intensity. It reveals notes of morello cherry, dried blackcurrant and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of fairly ripe red fruits, rosemary, sage as well as fine hints of black olive, undergrowth, fresh black pepper, a hint of maceron, a subtle hint of fig and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality / a mineral frame, fullness, a certain small creaminess as well as an almost linear side. Discreetly tight in its structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, morello cherry and small notes of quite ripe / roasted-elegant small red fruits, bright Quetsche plum associated with hints of cornflower, sage, fine hints of balsamic, a subtle hint of fig and a discreet hint of cocoa. Tannins are finely powdered. Beautiful persistence and tangy.
