A nice, spicy and intense nose that offers a frank, racy, and spicy grain. It reveals notes of wild blackcurrant, Sichuan pepper, and small notes of blackberry combined with touches of ripe wild red berries, as well as a hint of sage, camphor, red pepper, a hint of game, morello cherry, and toasted pine nuts. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, tension, a lovely freshness, a nice minerality, a certain concentration as well as a certain pulpiness of the fruit. A certain breadth of the freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, balsamic, and small notes of pulpy small fruits combined with fine hints of undergrowth, sage, a hint of black olive, and a discreet hint of game.
