The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, a certain deepness as well as a lovely spicy and fresh side. It reveals notes of crushed blackcurrant, quite ripe blackberry and small notes of cherry associated with touches of undergrowth, a hint of camphor as well as a discreet hint of truffle, nutmeg and a hint of elegant roasted small red fruits. The palate is beautifully structured, fruity, well-balanced and offers a fresh frame, suppleness, accuracy, a good definition, a certain gourmandise, suavity, texture as well as a certain creaminess in finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, pulpy roasted cherry, and small notes of creamy small fruits associated with a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut, toasted almond, undergrowth, a discreet hint of black olive and an imperceptible hint of arbutus. Beautiful length, delicately acidulous, iodine and creamy.
