Scaramuzzo – Ventallegra 2024 – Terre del Volturno IGP

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, nicely smoky/iodized, lively, racy and offers good definition, precision and a fine rocky, even volcanic side. It reveals notes of fresh lychee, associated with fine hints of quenette, pulpy brugnon and smoke. The palate is fruity, saline and offers volume, energy, a tangy frame, good definition, precision, minerality, purity, brightness and delicacy in its energy. A lovely velvety, airy side to the spices. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of lychee, pulpy green peach and iodine/salinity, combined with a fine smoky touch, a subtle hint of fresh pineapple, spices and a sense of the place (local biotop).
