Donnachiara – Taurasi 2021 – Taurasi DOCG

The nose offers fruit, brilliance, elegance, delicacy in its texture, fleshiness, precision, accuracy and a lovely mellow, precise grain. It reveals notes of ripe/fleshy cassis, fleshy/ripe wild strawberry and small notes of small concentrated fruits, associated with touches of tonka bean, cardamom, as well as a subtle hint of thyme blossom and mandarin. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers a fresh, juicy, balanced, elegant and racy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, creamy/juicy violet plum and small notes of fleshy raspberry, combined with touches of small juicy/fresh red fruits, as well as fine hints of almost blood orange, sweet blond tobacco, toasted and a hint of cocoa and cardamom. Good length. Elegant, racy tannins. Gourmand persistence with a hint of good roasting and fine hints of iodized in the background.
