San Salvatore – Calpazio 2024

The nose is elegant, frank, racy and offers an elegant, delicate and assertive varietal side and a lovely crunchy side of fruit. It reveals notes of pulpy green apple, crunchy white peach and small notes of flowers, associated with touches of pineapple, a hint of verbena and a discreet hint of Amalfi lemon. The palate is fruity, suave, slightly round, gourmand and offers a mineral frame and good definition. It offers precision, suppleness, a iodized side and a fine varietal/floral hint in the background. There are also notes of quenette, crunchy green apple and small notes of lemon, combined with touches of mandarin, as well as hints of small pulpy/bright white fruits and honeysuckle, even lime blossom. Good definition, gourmandise and a little fatness in this wine.
