Di Prisco – Tre Vigne 2017, Taurasi

The nose is elegant and offers a certain intensity/depth and beautiful definition. There are notes of concentrated blue plum, Madagascar pepper and small notes of saffron (on the floral side), associated with fine hints of creamy strawberry, small concentrated black berries, as well as a hint of lilac, sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hints of undergrowth. The palate is fruity, juicy and presents a tangy frame, precision, suppleness and a certain gourmandise. It also offers precision, a certain creaminess, elegance, a racy side and a fine, airy substance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, concentrated violet plum and small notes of fig, combined with touches of small creamy fruits, Madagascar pepper, roasting, a subtle hint of cocoa nibs and a note of black olive/dry local undergrowth. Good length.
