Luigi Maffini – Cenito Bio 2022 – Cilento DOC Aglianico

The nose offers depth, a certain elegant austerity and substance. We find notes of crushed blackberry, graphene and small fleshy black fruits, associated with touches of blood orange, vanilla, fine toasted hints and a delicate hint of smoke and sense of the place (local biotop) / warm grove. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, tangy and offers precision, delicacy, energy, good definition and a melodious side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, bright strawberry and small notes of brilliant cherry, combined with touches of lilac, star anise, chocolate, as well as fine hints of toasted hazelnut, taosted almond, delicate hints of bourbon vanilla, mandarin, rosemary, cocoa and sweet tobacco. Good length. A well-built wine. The tannins are tasty, precise and racy.
