Astroni – Cru Vigna Astroni 2020 – Campi Flegrei DOC Falanghina

The nose is elegant, aromatic, gastronomic and offers depth and a velvety side. We find notes of yellow peach, nutmeg and small notes of butter, associated with touches of small yellow fruits, as well as discreet, almost beeswax-like hints. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, tangy, mineral and presents depth, good definition, precision, juiciness and an enveloping, multi-layered side all in precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, citron and small notes of toasted almonds, combined with fine touches of yellow flowers, as well as hints of butter, discreet chestnut, salinity, blond tobacco, medlar and dried mandarin. Good length. Roundness and gourmandise. A wine offering lovely textured, depth, a gastronomic and tannic side to the aromatic and structure, which drives the tasting, all in precision.
