Jean Durup Père & Fils – L’Eglantière 2023 – AOC Petit Chablis

The wine has a bright pale lemon color. The first nose is intense and fruity with notes of fresh apple and juicy yellow lemon. There is a lovely mineral freshness as well as subtle hints of stone fruit like yellow peach. The second nose opens with a hint of banana, light toast, and browned butter. There is good aromatic intensity. The palate is fresh, fruity, and tangy on the attack. There are discreet notes of apple, green plum, and juicy yellow peach. There is good acidity and a slight salinity until the finish. The palate is more discreet and the finish is sapid.
