Domaine Gaston & Pierre Ravaut 2023 – AOC Côte de Nuits Villages

The wine has a beautiful, bright, dark cherry color. The initial nose is fresh with delicate fruity notes of raspberry, juicy cherry, and wild strawberry. There is a hint of pepper, sweet spices, and a subtle touch of leather. The second nose opens with more intensity, revealing crisp black and red fruits, as well as a floral hint of rose. The palate is fresh with a slight dynamism on the attack. There is a certain roundness to the fruit with notes of blackberry, juicy cherry, and fresh strawberry. The tannins are supple with a hint of toast and pine sap, as well as sweet spices. The finish is consistent with lightly stewed black fruits.
