Château Sociando-Mallet 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is beautifully fruity, elegant, gourmand, harmonious and offers a lovely textured in finesse. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, juicy/pulpy plum and small notes of strawberry, associated with delicate hints of lilac, nutmeg and a fine hint of spices. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy, fruity and mineral. It offers a fresh frame, precision, tension, fine texture and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cherry and small notes of violet, combined with touches of small juicy/bright red fruits, as well as hints of nutmeg, toasted, a subtle hint of camphor and bergamot. A wine offering harmony and gourmandise. A good work on the good bitters in the background and a touch of dark chocolate.
