(57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc) The nose is fresh, floral and offers some spices. There are notes of violet, lilac, fresh blackberry and small notes of cubeb pepper, associated with touches of small ripe wild fruits, fine hints of racy minerality, sap (and even discreetly peony) and a subtle hint of rhubarb/crushed red fruits. The palate is well-built, fruity and offers roundness, gourmandise and a graphene side. A voluptuous, iodized mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, juicy-roasted red fruit and cornflower, combined with touches of crushed strawberry, chocolate, a discreet hint of vanilla, racy minerality and a subtle hint of bright, fresh blueberry. Good length. Freshness, voluptuous and chocolatey.
