Château Sainte-Catherine 2024 – Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux

(Organic) The nose offers a certain concentration. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red cherry, blackcurrant, fresh wood, combined with a touch of peony, liquorice, bitter cocoa, as well as blackcurrant leaf in the background. The palate reflects the juiciness on the nose: we find flavors of morello cherry, tart red cherry, cranberries, tangy raspberry and crunchy strawberry, as well as liquorice, peony in the background and blackcurrant leaf. The tannins are firm, but not grippy and balanced by a salivating acidity. Good length with a bitter touch of cranberries and wild cherry. The attack is a little fizzy, with a fermentary hint.
